People of Faith Against the Death Penalty is organizing the Kairos Conference: Discerning Justice and Taking Action on America's Death Penalty. The event will be held in the Emory University Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta Georgia. Sister Helen Prejean, author of the book "Dead Man Walking" is its Honorary Chair. The conference is part of a new effort to strengthen coalitions between the abolition movement and religious communities nationally.
