Death Row Inmates

An ABC News piece on Carlos De Luna, a man who was executed but was likely innocent

Texas Death Row Inmate Kenneth Foster.  Foster was scheduled to be executed in Texas on August 30th, but his sentence was commuted by Gov. Rick Perry just six hours before his scheduled execution.  It was the first ever commutation by Gov. Perry.

The ACLU of Northern California has unveiled a new YouTube video taken from California's ongoing death penalty study commission hearings. The video tells the story of Aundre Herron, a former prosecutor who lost her older brother to murder in 1994. At first Herron wanted revenge; now she speaks out against the death penalty.
