Today is Giving Tuesday! That leaves less than 24 hours to help the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty meet our $30,000 Giving Tuesday Campaign Goal.
We launched our Giving Tuesday Campaign one month ago in hopes of raising $30,000 in recognition of America’s national day of giving. In this final stretch, we really need your help, especially with 5 more executions scheduled before the end of the year: Scott Panetti and Robert Ladd in Texas, Edmund Zagorski in Tennessee, Paul Goodwin in Missouri and Robert Holsey in Georgia.
Our fight to end the death penalty is not just about principles. It is about real lives. There is no greater evidence of that fact than the 3,054 people who are on death row right now and counting on you.
This is the time to take a stand, bringing more people into our movement and ending the death penalty once and for all.
This Giving Tuesday, give hope to the 3,054 people still on death row. Give hope to their families and loved ones. And give hope to survivors of homicide by placing the focus on policies and practices that support survivors and honor the memory of their loved ones. Please be generous.
