Tell them that you are attending the NCADP conference to get the special rate. Or click here to book your room(s) on-line. These rates are good until December 4, 2009 or until all rooms are sold, whichever comes first.  NCADP conference participants receive upgraded hotel concessions including: discounted self-parking rates of $15.00 per day, complimentary access to the fitness center, complimentary in-room internet connection in your sleeping room, and complimentary hotel airport shuttle to and from the airport.

We are meeting at the newly renovated Seelbach Hilton Louisville Hotel, Kentucky's premier luxury hotel since its grand opening in 1905. Conference participants will experience refined Southern hospitality and relaxation amidst turn-of-the-century artwork and antiques. In fact, the grand ambiance inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald to use the Seelbach Hilton Louisville Hotel as the backdrop for Tom and Daisy Buchanan's wedding in "The Great Gatsby." The hotel appears on the National Register of Historic Places, and has attracted many famous figures -- from nine U.S. presidents to Al Capone.

Today, this four-diamond hotel offers the atmosphere of a bygone era coupled with modern amenities and state-of-the-art technology. The updates in the guestrooms include new furniture, lighting, carpet, wall treatments, and 37-inch high-definition televisions. For more information, or to plan your stay, please click here.

Room Accessibility: The Seelbach Hilton Louisville hotel is fully accessible for people with restricted mobility and has guestrooms adapted for wheelchairs. Arrangements for a guestroom that meets your specific requirements should be requested when making reservations with the hotel. If you have a physical challenge that may impact your participation in our program, please contact NCADP immediately to discuss accommodations. We cannot ensure the availability of appropriate accommodations without at least two week’s prior notification.

Come early--and stay later. You'll be glad you did.

We have negotiated our special rate for hotel rooms from January 11 to January 20, 2010 (three days before and after our conference dates) for those who would like to come early or stay late. You'll find plenty of unique attractions near the hotel … from the rolling hills and horse farms of the Kentucky countryside … to the arts and culture of Louisville … to scenic Ohio River riverboats. And, in front of the hotel, you can board a free trolley to explore downtown Louisville. Guests and local visitors love exploring The Seelbach itself. A history of celebrities and ghosts, early 1900s décor and original murals depicting Kentucky's pioneer days draw visitors from around the country. Venture into The Oakroom where Al Capone once played blackjack, now Kentucky's only AAA Five Diamond restaurant.

If you want to explore the area, your options are endless:
  • Attractions & Sightseeing - Churchill Downs and scenic riverboats are some of the famous local attractions.
  • Local Nightlife - Try your hand at cards on a casino riverboat or enjoy Louisville music and nightlife.
  • Museums - Visit baseball's famed Louisville Slugger Museum and other local museums.
  • Shopping - Shop like you're Daisy Buchanan of "The Great Gatsby" at our many Louisville stores.
  • Theater & Music - Delight in our acclaimed playhouses, ballet and the Louisville Orchestra.
