Scholarships

The scholarship process has closed for the 2010 Annual Conference.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS DUE November 2, 2009

Purpose

This year, NCADP will again offer a Scholarship Program to those who are financially unable to fund their Conference registration in order to give them the opportunity to attend the conference. These scholarships will enable recipients to enhance their knowledge and refine the skills necessary to build a strong movement. In turn, they will contribute more to their organizations, communities and the field as a whole.

Criteria

  • The applicant should be financially unable to pay the registration fee and willing to share information about his or her financial need (Honor System: no documentation required).
  • The applicant must be an active member NCADP Affiliate.
Description of Scholarship
  • Scholarships cover full, early bird registration fees only and are awarded on a space and funds available basis.
  • Recipients are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses.
  • These scholarships tend to be competitive. While we wish we could provide everyone with assistance, those with the greatest need will be selected.
  • Barring illness or unforeseen emergency, we expect that scholarship recipients will attend the Conference. In case a recipient is unable to attend, we urge the individual to notify us as soon as possible so that someone else may take their place.
Applicants will be notified of the Review Committee's decision on or before November 30, 2009 via e-mail from Aimee Gabel.

DO NOT register for the conference until you hear from us whether or not you have been selected. If you are not chosen for the scholarship and would still like to attend the NCADP 2010 Annual Conference, we will honor the early bird registration rate.
