It has been a busy and exciting first quarter of the year, and we wanted to share with you the great news that NCADP will be welcoming three new members to our team starting on April 1st.
Sam Cooper will be joining us as Director of National Programs. Sam brings to the team his experience managing various state electoral campaigns, get out the vote and other voter mobilization efforts, and grassroots lobbying initiatives. He is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College.
Claire Moshenberg will join the team as an online organizer for NCADP. She is a freelance writer, editor, and social media strategist. Claire worked with MomsRising for four years, where she developed and led national and state policy initiatives for the Environmental Health campaign. She wrote Tips Tuesday, the top rated blog series on the MomsRising and hosted the series’ corresponding weekly Tweetchat.
Christel Joseph will be joining the staff as Executive Assistant. Christel brings over 10 years of administrative and executive level support having most recently worked for a scientific non-profit and will be supporting the Board and Executive Office of the organization.
In addition to these great folks, we wanted to be sure you know about our amazing interns who have been with us for several weeks now. Tiyana Clark is with NCADP all semester from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has been providing support for our online communications work. Delphine Nihoul is a legal intern at the NCADP. She holds a Master's Degree in Law from Belgium where she worked as a criminal lawyer for six years. Passionate about human rights and having recently relocated to Washington, DC, she joined NCADP to continue her engagement and to contribute to building a fairer society.
And of course, the rest of the team continues to do great work! Our development team includes: Alexander Satorie-Robinson, Director of Development and Operations; Andrew Gryll, Development Manager; and Annie Hughes, Development Consultant. Our field team includes Anita Grabowski, who will now be serving as State Director; Lori Baux, State Campaign Consultant; and Robin Pressman, National Campaign Consultant.
We are ready to rock and roll!
