We launched our 90 Million Strong Campaign last month with incredible success.  Research shows that 90 million Americans oppose the death penalty or think it is unfair, and we’re using this campaign to find them, engage them, and inspire them to use their voices to show the world that an active base of people exists who oppose the death penalty and will keep fighting until capital punishment is abolished.

As part of this campaign, and as your read in this issue of Lifelines, we have efforts underway across the nation—in states on the verge of repeal like Delaware, Kansas, Colorado, and most notably New Hampshire where the New Hampshire House Criminal Justice committee just voted 14-3 to repeal the death penalty, and in states like Florida where our immediate goal is to reduce death sentences and executions while we lay the groundwork for repeal.

But right now, we need you. I’m sure you’ve seen our movement with the 90 Million Strong Campaign picking up speed. In fact, just last week Governor Jay Inslee declared a moratorium this morning on the death penalty!  Click here to donate now and renew your support to keep our momentum building and make sure we have the resources we need to fully fund this ground-breaking, national campaign.
