Op-Ed: Every execution is different

The steps are the same, but the stories are always different. The background, the personalities, the precipitating factors, the survivors. It’s impossible to quantify an execution beyond the process of walking a prisoner to the chamber, strapping him to the table, and giving him the lethal intravenous cocktail.

Henry Curtis Jackson Jr., 47, will be dead just a few minutes from when this blog is posted.

And just like every other execution, you have people from both sides debating the issue back and forth.
