Teaching Abolition: DPIC’s Public School Curriculum
The Death Penalty Information Center has helped create a curriculum on the death penalty for upper-middle and high school students. The curriculum is designed to encourage civil participation, critical thinking and the development of research skills among students by focusing on the death penalty, a topic of current interest and importance. This workshop will examine how this curriculum currently is being used in public schools and how you can make it part of your local public school curriculum.
