Part 1:
This workshop will include planning an
Abolition Campaign in your state: targeting legislators most likely to
support abolition; identifying and mobilizing the people who are most
persuasive for each targeted legislator; implementing public education and
public relations campaigns to specifically impact legislators; and creating
an environment in which the legislature will abolish the death
penalty.

Part 2:
This workshop will address the WHY and HOW
of creating effective visibility to help grow the movement to abolish the
death penalty. Participants will leave with the knowledge of how to obtain
or create, and use, effective tools for presentation of the abolitionist
message to policy makers, the media and the public.
