Increasingly, the death penalty is an integral part of broader youth activism. Youth are both the current and future generations of leaders of the abolitionist movement. But all too often, the voices of young people are shut out of the process. This workshop will examine how youth can get involved with organizations; how adults can identify and work with youth; how to plan events that will engage youth; and why youth should be part of your staff and/or board of directors.
