The Center for the Study of Democracy will welcome Diann Rust-Tierney, Executive Director of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.  "The Imperative of Ending Capital Punishment to Achieve Racial Equality”  a virtual event presented by the Center for the Study of Democracy will address race as the delineating marker of America's caste system and how capital punishment supports and sustains that caste system that oppresses us all.
